NineSixTwo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the NineSixTwo mobile application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We do not collect financial information, social security numbers, government identification, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above. Payment information for premium subscriptions is handled entirely by Apple and is never visible to us.

Data Storage

How Your Data Is Stored

All personal data you enter into NineSixTwo is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults system. Your data is not transmitted to, or stored on, any external server operated by us.

If you delete the App from your device, all associated data will be permanently deleted. We do not retain copies of your data after app deletion.

In a future version of the App, we may offer optional cloud sync via an account system. If implemented, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe how cloud-stored data is handled before that feature becomes available.

Third-Party Services

The App makes outbound requests to the following third-party services. No personal identifying user data is included in these requests beyond what is described below.

Premium Subscriptions

Subscription Data

NineSixTwo offers optional auto-renewing premium subscriptions. All subscription payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple ID. Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework.

We do not collect or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or other payment information. For details on pricing, billing, cancellation, and refunds, please see our Terms and Conditions.

Data Sharing

How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We do not display advertisements in the App and do not share data with advertisers.

We may disclose information only if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (such as a court order or subpoena).

Children's Privacy

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

NineSixTwo is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information through this App, please contact us immediately at the email address below. We will take steps to delete such information promptly.

HIPAA

Not a HIPAA-Covered Entity

NineSixTwo is a consumer wellness application. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, business associate, or healthcare provider. The App is not intended to be used as a medical device or to provide healthcare services. Your use of this App does not create a doctor-patient relationship of any kind.

Security

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features, including passcode, Face ID, and Touch ID protections.

We do not have access to your device or the data stored on it. No data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we only transmit anonymized food search queries, barcode numbers, and AI generation prompts — never your personal health information or identity.

Updates

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
